KPOO is an independent, non-commercial radio station serving the San Francisco Bay Area. Since KPOO does not receive advertising money like commercial stations, its operation depends solely on grants and donations to remain on the air.
Your donation will help cover the cost of maintaining the transmitter, live feeds, broadcast equipment, and day-to-day running of the station. All of our DJs and staff are volunteer, so every cent goes toward keeping the station on the air.
Every contribution makes a difference. KPOO gives voice to those who would otherwise not have their voices aired by mainstream media.
